Music Enrichment Designed for the Early Childhood School Day
Bracy’s Music Together brings a consistent, year-long music and movement experience directly into participating UPK/Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. When a classroom participates, the children take part together as a class, making music alongside their classroom teachers while a trained Music Together In School Specialist guides developmentally appropriate experiences in singing, movement, rhythm, listening, and musical play.

Consistency Gives Music a Place in the School Year
Bracy’s Music Together is designed as an ongoing school-year experience rather than an occasional music activity. Each participating classroom receives 30 weekly, 30-minute sessions across the academic year.
That consistency gives children repeated opportunities to sing, move, listen, explore rhythm, respond to musical ideas, and become increasingly familiar with making music together.
Classroom teachers participate alongside their students, helping the musical experience become part of the classroom community rather than something that exists only during the specialist’s visit.
In Each Session
Active Music-Making for Young Learners
Young children learn by doing. Sessions invite children to participate actively in developmentally appropriate musical experiences rather than simply watch or listen.
Singing
Children experience songs, voices, melody, repetition, and expressive language through active musical participation.
Movement
Music invites children to move their bodies, explore space, respond to tempo, and experience rhythm physically.
Rhythm
Clapping, moving, listening, and musical play give children opportunities to notice and respond to rhythmic patterns.
Listening
Children practice noticing musical changes, sounds, cues, patterns, and the contributions of others.
Musical Play
Playful musical experiences encourage exploration, imitation, creativity, and different ways of participating.
Making Music Together
Group music-making gives children and teachers a shared experience built around participation, connection, and joy.
Beyond the Weekly Session
Music Doesn’t Have to Stop When the Specialist Leaves
Classroom teachers are an important part of the Bracy’s Music Together school experience. Classroom teachers and assistants participate alongside the children during the weekly music session, helping music and movement continue as part of classroom life between Specialist visits. Teachers also receive learning resources they can use between visits.
Participating classrooms need a basic set of egg shakers, rhythm sticks and movement scarves so children and teachers can continue making music together during the school week.

Family Connection
Helping the Music Travel From School to Home
Children’s musical lives extend beyond the classroom. Bracy’s Music Together helps families connect with the music their children are experiencing at school by providing materials for participating children’s immediate families and creating opportunities for families to make music together.
Family Support Beyond the Classroom
Participating schools receive access to our 30-week Participating Families email series in English and Spanish.
Families receive simple music and movement ideas designed to help extend the joy, connection and learning of the classroom experience into everyday life at home.
Families enroll directly, so schools do not need to forward weekly program emails throughout the year.
Family Songbook
A resource families can use to become familiar with the music and continue musical experiences together.
Music Together App Access
Families can access the current Music Together song collection through the Music Together app.
Family Music at Home With the Music Together App
Every participating child’s immediate family receives the Music Together family songbook and access to the current song collection through the Music Together® app. Families use the songbook and app together to listen, sing and move at home or on the go.
Getting Started at Home
- Download the free Music Together app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in with a Music Together account, or create one right in the app.
- Enter the code from your family songbook to unlock the songs your child is singing in class.
- Stream or download the songs, sing along with on-screen lyrics, create playlists and enjoy the digital singalong storybooks together.

Get practical music ideas, child-development insights and simple ways to bring more singing, movement and connection into everyday family life.
Twice a Year, Families Join the Music-Making
While caregivers do not attend the regular weekly classroom sessions, families are welcomed into the experience through two school-wide participatory Parent Events held each academic year for families of participating students.
These events give parents and caregivers an opportunity to experience music-making with their children firsthand, become familiar with the songs and activities their children encounter at school, and share the joy of making music together.
The goal is to help bridge school and home while creating another opportunity for connection and community around the children’s musical experiences.
Designed for Early Childhood Classrooms
Program pricing is designed for classrooms of approximately 8 to 25 children. A typical class has about 18 students.
