Music Enrichment Designed for the Early Childhood School Day
Bracy’s Music Together brings a consistent, year-long music and movement experience directly into participating UPK/Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. Children make music alongside their classroom teachers while a Music Together specialist guides developmentally appropriate experiences in singing, movement, rhythm, listening, and musical play.

Consistency Gives Music a Place in the School Year
Bracy’s Music Together is designed as an ongoing school-year experience rather than an occasional music activity. Each participating classroom receives 30 weekly, 30-minute sessions across the academic year.
That consistency gives children repeated opportunities to sing, move, listen, explore rhythm, respond to musical ideas, and become increasingly familiar with making music together.
Classroom teachers participate alongside their students, helping the musical experience become part of the classroom community rather than something that exists only during the specialist’s visit.
In Each Session
Active Music-Making for Young Learners
Young children learn by doing. Sessions invite children to participate actively in developmentally appropriate musical experiences rather than simply watch or listen.
Singing
Children experience songs, voices, melody, repetition, and expressive language through active musical participation.
Movement
Music invites children to move their bodies, explore space, respond to tempo, and experience rhythm physically.
Rhythm
Clapping, moving, listening, and musical play give children opportunities to notice and respond to rhythmic patterns.
Listening
Children practice noticing musical changes, sounds, cues, patterns, and the contributions of others.
Musical Play
Playful musical experiences encourage exploration, imitation, creativity, and different ways of participating.
Making Music Together
Group music-making gives children and teachers a shared experience built around participation, connection, and joy.
Beyond the Weekly Session
Music Doesn’t Have to Stop When the Specialist Leaves
Classroom teachers are an important part of the Bracy’s Music Together school experience. Teachers participate with their students during weekly sessions and receive learning resources they can use to continue music-making between specialist visits.
That continuity gives songs and musical experiences opportunities to become familiar parts of classroom life throughout the week.

Family Connection
Helping the Music Travel From School to Home
Children’s musical lives extend beyond the classroom. Bracy’s Music Together helps families connect with the music their children are experiencing at school by providing materials for participating children’s immediate families and creating opportunities for families to make music together.

Twice a Year, Families Join the Music-Making
While caregivers do not attend the regular weekly classroom sessions, families are welcomed into the experience through two Parent Events during the academic year.
These events give parents and caregivers an opportunity to experience music-making with their children firsthand, become familiar with the songs and activities their children encounter at school, and share the joy of making music together.
The goal is to help bridge school and home while creating another opportunity for connection and community around the children’s musical experiences.
Designed for Early Childhood Classrooms
The standard program is designed for participating classrooms of approximately 8 to 18 students.
If your classroom or group is larger than 18 students, tell us about your setting when you inquire. Larger groups may require special accommodation, and we’ll review the details with you before determining the appropriate program arrangement.
