This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our email communications, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Who our website is for

Our website is intended for school leaders, educators and other adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our website, please contact us.

Information you provide to us

School program inquiries. When you complete our school inquiry form, we ask for your name, your role or job title, your school or organization name, your email address, your location, and the age groups your school serves. You may also choose to provide a phone number, the approximate number of interested classrooms and children, your desired start period, how you heard about us, and any additional information you want to share. We use this information to review and respond to your inquiry and to discuss a possible program with your school. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to any marketing email list.

Guide requests. When you request a free guide, we ask for your first name and email address. You may also choose to provide your school or center, your role, and your borough or county. We use this information to email you the guide you requested. Requesting a guide does not add you to any marketing email list.

Optional email updates. Separately from any inquiry or guide request, school leaders may choose to subscribe to occasional email updates through a signup form provided by Sender, our email marketing service. This form collects your email address, your first name and your consent. We use double opt-in, which means you are not subscribed until you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email we send you. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Direct communications. If you email or call us, we use the information you provide to respond.

How our form submissions are stored

Inquiry and guide request submissions are stored in our website’s form system on our website server. Along with your answers, the form system automatically records the date of your submission, the page you submitted from, your IP address, and basic browser and device information. We use this information to manage submissions and to help prevent spam and misuse.

Security

Our website uses security software that processes IP addresses and related technical information to detect and block unauthorized access attempts and other malicious activity. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive at our site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your device and your activity on our website. For information about how Google uses data from websites that use its services, visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Google Fonts. Our website uses fonts delivered by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address and basic browser information.

Embedded YouTube video. Our homepage includes an official Music Together video embedded from YouTube, a Google service, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. When the video player loads or you play the video, YouTube and Google may receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser and device details, and information about how you interact with the video, and they may use cookies or similar technologies. Privacy-enhanced mode limits, but does not prevent, this data collection. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Sender. Pages that include our email signup form, and Sender’s hosted signup page, load technology from Sender. This technology may set cookies or use similar browser storage to display and operate the form and to measure signups.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may not work as intended if you do.

Marketing emails

If you subscribe to our optional email updates, Sender records whether our marketing emails are opened, using a small image embedded in each email, and which links are clicked, using tracking links. Links in our marketing emails may also include campaign tags so that Google Analytics can show when a website visit came from one of our emails.

Do Not Track signals

Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Third parties that provide services on our website, including Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate our website and communications, including:

  • TMDHosting, which hosts our website and our business email;
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics, Google Fonts and YouTube;
  • Sender, which provides our optional email updates.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or when needed to protect our rights, our safety or the safety of others.

Communications with schools and families

We send operational communications with schools, such as replies to inquiries and program coordination, from our business email account. Participating schools normally distribute program communications to their families through each school’s designated program contact. We do not automatically receive or maintain participating families’ email addresses. If a parent or caregiver contacts us directly, we use the information they provide to respond.

How long we keep information

Form submissions remain in our website’s form system until we delete them. Sender maintains subscriber information on our behalf. If you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive our marketing emails.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to review, correct or delete personal information you have submitted to us by emailing hello@bracysmusictogether.com or writing to the address above. We will review and respond to your request. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any of those emails.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above.
